Become a part of the Pride! 

The Pride of the Susquehanna was created as a community service project and it was built by the people of Central Pennsylvania with donations large and small. The Pride is not a private, for profit business. The Pride is the people's boat and it's operation is overseen by an all volunteer Board of Directors made up of community leaders in the Harrisburg area.

One way to support the Pride, the riverboat society, and to enjoy cruising all season long is to join the Friends of the Pride

The purpose of our organization, in addition to keeping The Pride in operation for the people of Central Pennsylvania and those who visit our area, is to provide a unique and historic view of Harrisburg and provide unique educational opportunities for parents, students and teachers alike regarding the vast history and unique ecology associated with our beautiful Susquehanna River. Since her launch in May of 1987, The Pride has carried more than a half-million passengers.

Membership runs from April 1 to March 31st each year, and has three levels to choose from.  

Friends of The Pride enjoy the privilege of having priority in making reservations for the for the annual Fireworks Cruise

The levels of membership in Friends of the Pride are:

Individual: 35.00/year

• A season pass to ride the Pride
• A subscription to the biannual newsletter
• Friends of the Pride Annual Picnic Cruise

Family: 50.00/year

• A family season pass on the Pride (Parents and children 18 and under)
• Subscription to the biannual newsletter
• Friends of the Pride Annual Picnic Cruise
• 10% off River Store items (coming soon)

Business: 100.00/year

• Mention in the newsletter's business listing
• 10% discount on sponsorship opportunities
• 20 free voyage passes
